storage tank design engineer

Key Responsibilities:
 Design and analyze storage tanks (both single-wall and double-wall) in compliance
with API 650, API 620, and other relevant codes.
 Perform mechanical design calculations for tank structural integrity, fluid
containment, pressure relief systems, and material selection.
 Develop detailed design documents, including drawings, calculations, and technical
specifications.
 Collaborate with project managers, civil and structural engineers, and contractors to
ensure that designs meet project specifications and timelines.
 Provide technical support during construction, ensuring adherence to design
specifications and resolving any issues on-site.
 Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
 Monitor and manage project costs related to tank design and material procurement. Qualifications 
 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
 10-15 years of experience in storage tank design, with a focus on API 650 and oil &
gas projects.
 Strong knowledge of API 650, API 620, and other tank design codes. ...
