Key Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy,policies,processess and procedures to aid and improve operational excellence.
- Contribute to new business initiatives, projects, and review and communicate the impact on quality activities.
- Demonstrate abilities in devising QA systems, procedures, KPI, Internal customer concept, SQA, Calibration of equipments, customer/part specific quality plan and continous improvement of the QA function,
- Must have exposure of handling export customers .
- Should have handled warranty issue.
- Keen to identify opportunities and developing technology-driven solutions through Quality functions that enhance competitiveness, increase revenue, reduce COQ & COPQ and improve business operations.
- Must Possess adequate knowledge of Business and management & manufacturing principles ( Budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, Lean manfacturing,TPM etc.)
- Must possess the adequate knoweldge of Forgings, machining, steel, and castings.
- Metallurgy Knowledge appreciated. Should have also been in a role of MR for the organization,
- Handle all core tools like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Production Quality Preparation (APQP), Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA), Control Plan, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Calibration Supports company goals and objectives, policies and procedures including interpretation and execution and country regulations ensuring that the site maintains certification to all ISO/IATF.Drive Process Robustness Initiatives and implement Poke-yokes /Failsafe/ Mistake proofing for processes with High SOD/RPN. Plan & Execute Audits Layered Audit, Dock Audit, Control Plan Audit, Process Audit, internal Audit and External Audit. Key representative for supplier and customer audits.
- Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues utilizing the process as well as other applicable processes with expertise in coaching teams on Problem Solving techniques including RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 8D Analysis, Six Sigma & 5 Why Analysis.
- Drive customer complaints resolution and PPM reduction methodologies across various functions. Ensure Quality Assurance of suppliers through incoming checks, audits as well as joint development.
- Initiate & drive Change Management initiatives QBM (Quality Based Management),
- Engineering/Process Change Management (ECN), Best Practices Sharing, Business Excellence across Supply Chain.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) & Localization by closely working with Project teams and execute/implement Product transfers and Localization/VAVE Projects on-time.
- Establish Daily Management Review meeting on inspection, yield, Rejection material handling.
- and corrective and preventive action. Proactively anticipate and correct issues, establish / improve systems / processes to ensure consistent Right First Time Output of product.
- Ensure QA of Supply Chain through system / Special process audits/ Process Capability tracking and improvement and analysing / monitoring appropriate quality measures.
- International customer handling.
- Ensuring the strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvement.
- Support TPM & Lead Six Sigma/kaizen activities and drive Continuous improvement.
