Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of work preparators in steel operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate steelwork activities in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Review project requirements, specifications, and drawings to develop detailed work plans and schedules for steel operations.
- Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to support efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies for steel operations.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to work preparators and steelwork teams, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Collaborate with safety and quality assurance teams to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to HSE standards.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including work reports, inspection records, and project documentation, as required.
- Participate in meetings, discussions, and reviews with project stakeholders to provide updates on steel operations progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance in steel operations.
