Job Summary: The Sr. Manager/Chief Manager will oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality assurance and control in the manufacturing and installation of solar mounting and module systems. This role involves managing quality processes, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance and Control: Oversee all levels of quality assurance and control, including incoming quality control, in-process quality control, and final quality assurance of solar photovoltaic modules.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain various quality reports and documentation as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on visual, electrical, and final quality parameters of solar panels. Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Process Improvement: Implement quality standard tools and conduct product and process audits to ensure stability and quality at each stage of manufacturing.
- Customer Feedback: Develop mechanisms for internal and external feedback to continuously improve service quality. Work closely with customers to assess product and process consistency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality policies, company standards, and regulatory and external standards.
- Training: Manage training programs for company personnel on quality system requirements, documentation, and maintenance.
- Quality Audits: Conduct timely quality audits, analyze feedback, and initiate follow-up audits as necessary.
- Total Quality Management (TQM): Implement TQM tools like 5S, Quality Circles, Kaizen, and coordinate Six Sigma projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: More than 15 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the solar or manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in quality management tools and software.
