- Execute tasks and activities in assigned projects within the areas of EHS and Regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement system improvements based on business requests.
- Respond to production application and systems problems and drive or support the analysis and remediation efforts. This includes being on call and support off-hours and holidays.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering or related fields
- 4+ years of technical experience with specifically SAP EHS and related modules.
- Demonstrable experience in Product Safety, Dangerous Goods Management (DG), WWI Templates like label templates and MSDS
- Knowledge in Substance Volume Tracking (SVT) & Reach Regulation.
- Demonstrable knowledge in various Regulations for Chemical Industry and their integration with SAP EHS module.
- Strong English Communication Skills (verbal and written)
- Familiar with full-life cycle (SDLC) development and formal change management methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
- Experience in off/on shore model as well as working with Virtual teams.
- Conceptual and analytical thinker – ability to extract, analyze and document business and technical requirements from customers and IT team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 Modules (Besides EHS SD, MM or PP)
- Manufacturing or business experience with an understanding of business operations /processes.
- Experience with international or global SAP deployments
