Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Vadodara, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in industrial safety and hold an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and develop preventive measures.
- Conduct safety training and educational programs for employees.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement plans.
- Ensure the availability and use of necessary safety equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
