The primary responsibility of the Technical Lead Middleware is to serve as the subject matter expert in the middleware portfolio in the areas of Hosting, Service provisioning and Integration.
The Lead will work alongside business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other BAs to understand and develop business requirements that provide IT solutions that support and meet business needs. Performing technical analysis and executing change activities; both project work and small enhancements.
Accountabilities:
• Working with IT partners and third-party suppliers to ensure that technical solutions meet business functional needs and aligns with IT strategy.
• Assisting in the preparation of investment proposals in close cooperation with the business and IT stakeholders.
• Generating innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities in order to enhance results or maximize potential through innovative solutions and ideas.
• Create and present compelling business cases to justify solution value and establish approval, funding and prioritization.
• Understand and stay abreast of relevant architectures and technologies related to a functional area. Research potential solutions and innovative ideas. Guide and manage interactions with technology vendors.
• Support longer-term business strategic goals through proposing improvements in value, cost, process, data, technology, functionality, and initiating high-level business requirements and feasibility studies to discover options and directions.
• Technical analysis work on project, discretionary, operational items. This would include Technical Analysis, Technical Requirements Definition, Technical Design in line with Functional Specification/Acceptance Criteria, and Test Plan solutions for delivery of change projects and minor/major enhancements
• Install, Configure and update software, documenting best practices and processes, using agreed standards and tools.
