We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to take complete ownership of the 0-1 journey of our new retail brand. This person will play a critical role in launching the brand’s first store, building a strong retail presence, and defining key sales processes to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up the store, hiring and training staff, optimizing sales operations, and collecting valuable customer feedback on product design, pricing, and policies. Over time, this individual will be expected to achieve revenue targets, scale store performance, and plan regional expansion for the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Launch & Setup: Lead the end-to-end process of launching the brand’s first store, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional customer experience.
- Team Building & Hiring: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing, customer-centric retail team.
- Sales & Revenue Management: Drive sales efficiency, establish key performance metrics, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Consumer Insights & Strategy: Collect and analyze consumer feedback on product design, pricing, and policies to refine brand strategy.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and optimize sales processes, monitor inventory levels, and align store operations with overall business goals.
- Expansion Planning: Strategically plan and execute regional growth initiatives, identifying new store locations and scaling operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer engagement, ensuring a seamless and personalized shopping experience. Define and execute a selling ceremony that creates an exceptional in-store experience.
- Retail Operations: Establish SOPs for store upkeep, security, and operational efficiency, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in regional or zonal retail sales with leading B2C brands or chain stores.
- Strong sense of accountability with a proactive approach to managing multiple responsibilities in a 0-1 setup; a startup mindset is essential.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and achieving sales targets within a designated territory.
- Experience in retail store launches or expansion projects.
- Prior experience managing a team and driving high sales performance.
- Ability to define, track, and analyze key business metrics, optimize inventory management, and align teams toward performance objectives is a must.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas, problem-solving strategies, and strategic insights effectively.
- Understanding of Jewelry, or premium retail markets is a plus.
