Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing:
- Perform quality inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Conduct dimensional checks using tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Identify and report non-conformities and suggest corrective actions.
Documentation:
- Maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
Process Monitoring:
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide feedback to production teams for process improvement.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team for audits and continuous improvement.
Problem Solving:
- Identify recurring defects and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the aluminium formwork or construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and understanding technical specifications.
- Knowledge of quality tools and techniques like 5S, Kaizen, and root cause analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
