Key Responsibilities: -
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage all phases of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address project requirements, expectations, and constraints.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and requirements.
- Implement corrective actions and measures to address any non-conformances or deviations from standards.
- Cost Control and Financial Management:
- Monitor project costs and expenditures, tracking budget allocations and expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, implementing measures to optimize project financial performance.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and projections for project stakeholders.
- Candidate shall have experience in handling overall responsibilities for similar large scale construction projects (Elevated Metro)
- Candidate must have project management experience and should understand the risks and challenges associated with Metro Projects.
- Candidate must have knowledge about viaduct and elevated metro activities.
- Candidate shall have good knowledge about Viaduct construction activities like Pile, Pilecap, Pier, Piercap, Casting of U Girder, I Girder, Piercaps etc and Erection.
- Candidate shall have good knowledge about Elevated Metro Station construction activities involving Structural, Architectural, Finishing and MEP works.
- The candidate will work with senior management and act as the single point of contact for clients.
- Candidate will be responsible for Project progress, profitability, cost, quality and safety.
- The Candidate shall determine the resources required from beginning to end while keeping in mind budgetary constraints and will plan all construction operations and arrange adequate milestones to keep track to achieve all deadlines
