Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to oversee and optimize the manufacturing processes for aluminium formwork production. The candidate will ensure smooth production operations, adherence to quality standards, and implementation of efficient practices to meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution:
- Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of aluminium formwork products.
- Allocate resources effectively and minimize production downtime.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze and improve production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to resolve defects and maintain consistent product quality.
Team Management:
- Supervise and guide production team members, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct training sessions for operators and technicians to improve skillsets.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are functioning efficiently.
- Identify and address any production bottlenecks or issues promptly.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, materials, and outputs.
- Prepare regular production reports and present them to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in the aluminium formwork industry or related sectors.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and machinery used in aluminium formwork production.
- Proficiency in CAD software and production planning tools.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
