Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that support the company's business objectives and sustainability initiatives. Lead the procurement team in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management activities.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Drive supplier development programs to enhance capabilities and competitiveness.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation, strategic sourcing, and value analysis. Continuously monitor market trends and leverage competitive intelligence to achieve cost advantages.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Ensure business continuity through diversified sourcing and robust contingency planning.
- Financial Budget and Control: Prepare the annual Purchasing budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects
- Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers. Ensure contracts are aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Integrate sustainability considerations into procurement decisions. Promote the use of environmentally friendly materials and practices within the supply chain.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the department.
