Job Responsibilities: We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Compliance Officer to manage payroll processes and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, managing employee benefits, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Key role:
- Process and manage monthly payroll for all employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory deductions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in labor and payroll practices.
- Prepare and submit reports for auditing and tax purposes.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related queries and issues.
- Manage employee benefits and compensation plans.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and filing of payroll and compliance documents.
- Additional responsibilities includes - attendance and leave management, onboarding process, familiar with recruitment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in payroll processing and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, payroll software, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and confidentiality.
