 Improve efficiency of all equipments and manpower
 Reduce consumables and monitor consumption of the same in a cost efficient manner
 Ensure quality of incoming items like spares and consumables etc in the assigned
equipments and location
 Selection of new equipments by technically enhancing the design
 Maintain adequate stock of consumables and spare parts and reorder the consumables on
time
 Regularly conduct water audits ensuring efficient usage of water and avoid misuse and over
use of the same
 Timely removal of all type of effluent from the plant like used cloths, cutting oil, grease,
lubricant’s etc.
 Make provisions to treat cutting oil in house as per TNPCB norms
 Ensure compliance of EHS in day to day operations and ensure zero discharge target for the
effluents.
 Maintain clean, Safe and pollution free work environment in all plants and labour colony
 Manage and coordinate the coolant oil treatment project.
 Implementing strategies for waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices.
 Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and devising strategies to mitigate these risks.
Statutory Responsibilities:
 Maintain healthy relationship with TNPCB officials by regularly visiting them and keep a
track of all updates with regards to the same
 Attendant TNPCB officials while visiting our premises and explain the works and avoid any
adverse action for TNPCB
 Timely renewal of TNPCB licence
 Responsible to reply to any TNPCB communication like e-mail, Letters, Notices etc in order
to avoid any advance action.
 Maintain all equipments as per TNPCB guidelines
 Submission of necessary reports and returns or communication to TNPCB
