Job Description Designation: Manager - Nutritionist Department : Nutrition Reporting To : Head – Clinical Services Duty Hours: As per schedule intimated from time to time Dress Code : Specified uniform with ID Qualification: M.Sc Nutrition &Dietary (Desirable to have done MBA ) Experience: 10+ years Job Responsibilities: Hiring , Retaining and growing Nutritionist across Units Set a process for effective and efficient nutritionist care to be delivered at Hospital. Identify , grow and monitor business that can be generated by Nutrition department. Job Description : Create a Dash board to monitor work of nutrtionist across all units. Conduct educational meetings to improve and standardize the Nutritional care pro vided to patients across PAN India. Chart a career path for the staff in the department. Create literature that will be used for patients and for use online. Help with creation of online nutrition module in lifetrenz Conduct meetings on a regular basis both in person and teleconference with all the stake holders Program development with new initiatives and techniques Create tools to improve efficiency of delivery Ensure documentation is up to NABH standards Ensure that the moral of the team is good, and attrition is low A unit Nutrionist role that needs to be monitored is as follows: Out Patient Counseling of patients-walk-ins’ by appointments Handover of structured diet plan as per patient’s medical condition Checking on mails from patients and replying to them Inpatient Tracking the midnight admissions and updating the patient list First level interaction with newly admitted patients to take their preferences and give brief – up of the Cafeteria food services extended to patients Counseling the inpatients on day two of their admission after the delivery Handover of pamphlets related to nutrition during lactation Co-ordination of diet orders with the cafeteria for patients as per doctor’s orders Placing orders for goodies for SIGNATURE AND SUITE ROOM PATIENTS ensuring that they are treated specially by accommodating a few extra orders Regular inputs and supervising work done by assistant dieticians. Cafeteria : Ensuring all the below mentioned activities are done in timely and structured manner in all units. Tasting the patient food and getting changes done Supervising the cleanliness-check on food counters, steward service, periodical cleaning of all the equipments used on daily basis Regular check on daily purchases made, daily wastage etc., Taking inputs and corrective changes as advised by any of the directors regarding the maintenance of cafeteria by way of cleanliness , hygiene standards etc.,
