work Norms and specifications in coordination with the Global Commodity Team.

Must possess a good knowledge in process like machining, welding, surface
treatments, thorough knowledge in Quality systems knowledge, testing standards
Able to define process for qualification for above standard and catalog parts at
existing and new suppliers., for example: testing/qualifying criteria including
process, and manufacturing ability assessment's,
Supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, development, etc. considering the
required technical standards and Work Norms.
Planning and realization of VDA 6.3. process audits at the supplier and technical
discussions (TG) Release of Supplier, and maintaining the supplier, for
continuous improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supplier Qualification: Perform audits (Process, Product, Quality systems,
Preassessment/Compliance) to assure that the suppliers have an effective
process, product acceptance standard implemented. Identify & communicate
best practices/risks. Trigger and follow through on supplier improvement
programs.
Supplier Inspections: Conduct or supervise physical inspections of different
catalogue components.
Provide technical guidance to suppliers to assure compliance with engineering
drawings and specifications. Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely
inspection, documentation, and clearance of the offered items to meet project
deliverables.
Non-Conformity Management: For all defects, either in-process at supplier’s
works, establish a robust action plan to lead/support the RCA, CAPA and
containment actions to minimize impact & prevent reoccurrence.
Manage Supplier Deviation Request (SDR) activities as owner of the process
and the first technical interface between the suppliers.
Work closely with Sourcing, Quality and Engineering teams to be proactive in
supplier selection.
A technical discussion as well as the detailed explanation of the technical terms
of delivery, work standards and drawings can be done with the supplier if
