JOB DESCRIPTION OF (Business Development)
Responsibilities :
- Prepare cost budget for various teams.
- Generate MIS and present analytics
- Constant interaction with SLDC, RLDCs and NLDC
- In-depth understanding of Power Exchange operations, Power Trading and Energy Management Systems.
- Finalization of strategic alliances, market analysis and development & pricing of products based on market/customer specifications.
- Daily analysis of business development team through target Vs. achievement analysis.
- Review of business development team on timely basis for performance analysis.
- Tracking of business development team daily on their assigned work/meeting with the clients.
- Providing technical service support to our BD team and resolving their issues/concerns.
Required skill and experience:
- Demonstrated industry recognized operations and management of electricity/trading.
- Regulatory compliances and knowledge of Electricity Act 2003 and Grid Code.
- Knowledge of Open Access, LTOA, MTOA, STOA procedures.
- Skilled in system studies/analysis.
- Proficient in customer relationship management, administration.
General
- Knowledge of good scripting practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Expected to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines.
- Expected to adapt in dynamic and collaborative work environment and make independent decision
- Expected to learn and deploy new technologies as needed.
- Nice to have :
- Engineering degree in Electrical/ Power Engineering and/ or MBA in Power Management/Marketing
- Work experience related to Energy domain
- Software development on Trading background
