: This Position is executing the design activity for the lines and routing components, create part and assembly drawing for manufacturing the parts. This position is expected to perform physical activity for supporting the Build activity for test bed, PD and Pilot machines. This position must ensure his / her own safety as well as people working around them by following the safe behaviour and through highlighting any unsafe behaviour with people around them.
JOB DUTIES:
- Creating new designs Lines components and resolves issues regarding the manufacturing or building sequences.
- Assists in problem resolution, create engineering drawing as per Specification and engineering practices.
- Execute daily assigned task as per the instruction and within the time specified in the Standard work sheet.
- Work with different geographical region for the execution of the projects and propose solution for the functional area.
- Perform discussion with cross function team for the part development with Purchase, quality, and suppliers.

Responsible for generating and working on Continuous Improvement ideas.
Achieve the Simple Goals assigned to the respective individual.
Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Graduates in Mechanical specialization
Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience.
Knowledge in Lines routing, Creo and Team center
Drawing reading skills and Knowledge on Computer Operating Skills is required MS Office is preferred.
