IBL Control Tower - Abnormality Escalation & Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer-wise End-to-End MIS (Management Information System):
- Develop and maintain comprehensive customer-specific MIS reports to track supply chain operations and performance.
- Ensure accurate data collection and real-time reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for each customer.
- Analyze MIS reports to identify trends, operational bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement.
- Provide actionable insights through detailed reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and customer reviews.
- Missing Schedule Management:
- Monitor, track, and resolve instances of missing or delayed schedules within the IBL (Inbound Logistics) network.
- Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate schedule adherence.
- Implement proactive measures to reduce missing schedules and ensure continuity in the supply chain.
- Escalate critical schedule deviations to the appropriate stakeholders for prompt resolution.
- Schedule vs. Actual Monitoring in IBL:
- Compare planned schedules against actual delivery timelines to ensure operational accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies and root causes for schedule mismatches, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Track and report on schedule compliance metrics, including adherence rates and deviation trends.
- Develop strategies to improve alignment between planned and actual logistics operations.
- Part-Level Tracking:
- Implement and manage part-level tracking systems to monitor individual components throughout the supply chain.
- Ensure visibility of part-level data from order initiation to final delivery, minimizing risks of lost or delayed items.
- Analyze part-level tracking data to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper handling and tracking of critical components.
- Xdock Inventory Report Management:
- Oversee cross-dock (Xdock) inventory reporting processes to track goods moving through distribution hubs.
- Ensure real-time visibility of inventory at cross-docking facilities, reducing holding times and optimizing throughput.
- Generate and maintain accurate Xdock inventory reports, identifying potential issues in inventory flow.
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce discrepancies in Xdock operations.
- Monitoring Key Delivery Metrics:
- Track and report on critical delivery performance metrics including:
- On-Time Placement: Ensure timely allocation of logistics resources and vehicle placement for pickups.
- On-Time Delivery: Monitor the adherence to delivery schedules and reduce delays.
- Damage-Free Delivery: Ensure goods are delivered in optimal condition by implementing quality checks and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify and escalate deviations from performance standards to relevant teams for corrective action.
- Continuously improve delivery processes to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Track and report on critical delivery performance metrics including:
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or control tower operations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel,SAP, or other ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in handling abnormality escalation processes within logistics operations.
- Knowledge of IBL operations and cross-dock logistics.
- Familiarity with lean methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to: HOD IBL
- Works closely with: Logistics team, suppliers, transport partners, and customer service teams.
