Key Responsibilities:
1. Labor Law Compliance:
- Stay updated on state, and local labor laws and regulations relevant to the organization's
operations.
- Monitor changes in legislation and proactively advise HR and management on compliance
requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance
with labor laws.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective
actions.
2. Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and HR service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon metrics and SLAs, addressing any issues or
discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct vendor assessments and due diligence to ensure compliance with company standards
and regulatory requirements.
3. HR Compliance Reporting:
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings related to labor law compliance
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance efforts, including employee
records, training records, and policy acknowledgments.
- Assist in responding to inquiries and requests from regulatory agencies during audits and
investigations.
4. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce compliance risks in
HR operations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve HR systems, processes, and
practices.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in HR compliance and vendor
management.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in corporate HR, with a focus on labor law compliance and vendor
management.
