Overall Management of Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation Outfitting Operations at BCS:
- Lead and manage block outfitting activities for Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation section.
- Develop detailed work plans and schedules for Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation outfitting section, aligning them with the block construction and vessel construction timeline.
- Ensure that all Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation outfitting activities are carried out according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Coordination Within Block Outfitting Department:
- Coordinate closely with Work Preparator and Supervisor Electrical to ensure alignment of tasks, prevent workflow bottlenecks, and resolve issues impacting project timelines.
- Establish cross-functional collaboration with Design, Block Fabrication, hull and machinery outfitting teams to improve efficiency, share best practices, and ensure that outfitting tasks complement one another effectively.
- Conduct regular review meetings with departmental officers, Work Preparator and Supervisor Electrical to track progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with the project’s Electrical outfitting objectives.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Supervise quality assurance for electrical outfitting within BCS at production level, conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to verify that all electrical outfitting work meets established standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement corrective actions and process improvements to address quality issues within electrical outfitting promptly and prevent reoccurrence.
Workforce & Resource Management:
- Manage workforce allocation in E,E&I section, ensuring sufficient skilled labor to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Oversee resource allocation in E,E&I section, including equipment, tools, and materials, coordinating with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure availability and avoid delays.
- Identify and address skill gaps within the in E,E&I outfitting teams, supporting training and development initiatives to enhance team competencies and productivity.
