Role Overview We are seeking to hire an experienced leader to head our Customer Finance, Leasing and Insurance vertical reporting to Chief Marketing Officer. The incumbent will drive strategic initiatives, foster partnerships, and oversee the end-to-end management of customer finance operations. This role demands a proactive approach to innovation in financing models, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating seamless customer experience to achieve organizational growth. The primary responsibility will be to lead strategic alliances with key financiers, leasing partners and insurance companies to facilitate customers in buying the vehicle with ease. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership a. Develop and execute the overall customer finance, leasing and insurance strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives. b. Innovate financing models to cater to evolving market demands and customer needs. 2. Business Development a. Establish and strengthen partnerships with banks, NBFCs, fintech firms, and other lending institutions. b. Drive customer acquisition through targeted financing solutions and cross-functional collaboration. 3. Financial Product Design a. Lead the development of customer-centric financing products and schemes. b. Monitor the performance of existing products and implement improvements as needed. 4. Operational Excellence a. Ensure smooth operations of finance, leasing and insurance related activities, including coordination for credit assessment and disbursement. b. Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. 5. Risk and Compliance Management a. Establish a robust risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks. b. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. 6. Team Leadership and Development a. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing customer finance team. b. Foster a customer-focused and collaborative work environment. 7. Market Research and Analysis a. Analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities. b. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications • Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred • 12+ years of experience in developing strategic ties with finance / BFSI companies, preferably in the green energy, logistics, or automotive sectors Key Skills and Experience • Deep understanding of customer finance, leasing and insurance products, lending practices, and financial markets • Proven track record of leading and scaling customer finance operations • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in retail finance • Established connect and relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers within Banks, NBFCs, fintech organizations • Ability to drive innovation and deliver customer-centric solutions Attributes • Experience in leadership roles within NBFCs, banks, or fintech organizations • Exposure to technology-driven financing solutions and digital transformation initiatives • Knowledge of key customers and HCV customer behaviour in India
