Job Brief: We are looking for a General Manager (GM) to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the Institute. General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring that our research, academic and platform development activities are effective. Ultimately, you will help the Institute to maintain its glory, grow and thrive. The GM a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail shall report directly to the Director of the Institute. Primary Responsibilities: a. Set policies and processes, Design strategy and set goals and objectives of the Institute b. Maintain budgets and optimize expenses c. Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally d. Oversee recruitment and training of new employees e. Lead and mentor the HR, Estate, Finance and Accounting team. f. Oversee day-to-day operations g. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance h. Direct the employee assessment process i. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the Institute's goals. j. Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions. k. Ensµre effective internal controls, formulate strategy and provide solutions to the emerging challenges. Eligibility and Skills: a. Proven experience as a General Manager in RBI or GM (minimum 3 years)/ CGM in commercial banks. Minimum 5 years in HR/Enterprise level Accounts at AGM/DGM/GM level. b. Experience in planning, budgeting, business process and functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations etc.). Strong analytical ability to implement innovative changes c.
