The FE Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Product Design & Development team by conducting finite element analysis (FEA)) on a range of products, including industrial cranes, military vehicles, and construction equipment. The position demands expertise in advanced simulation tools, structural analysis.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Product Simulation & Analysis:
- Conduct detailed FEA analyses, including static Liner, Nonlinear , dynamic, and fatigue analyses, to validate product designs.
- Meshing of the large assemblies, refinement of mesh to maintain the required elements quality.
- To build FE model including application of load, load cases , constraint conditions, material definition, load combinations, etc.
- Solution diagnosis of FE solution and perform desired iterations to get accurate results.
- Able to perform Result interpretations once solution performed.
- Need to perform load calculations wherever required to to build FE models.
- Utilize simulation tools (MSC NASTRAN MSC APEX, etc.) to ensure product robustness, compliance, and optimization.

- Design & Development Collaboration:
- Partner with product designers to provide simulation insights that enhance design quality and efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews, offering data-backed recommendations to optimize structural integrity and performance.
- CAE Methodology Development:
- Establish, document, and continuously improve CAE methodologies to standardize simulation practices.
- Assist in developing FEA competencies within the team, promoting adherence to best practices and accuracy in analyses.

- Project Execution & Coordination:
- Manage simulation tasks to meet project timelines and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery and effective technical communication.
- Technical Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports, including assumptions, boundary conditions, and analysis results, for internal stakeholders and client presentations.
- Maintain structured documentation for all analysis activities, ensuring traceability and quality control.
3. Required Qualifications
Education:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
· Minimum of 8 years in CAE, focusing on FEA for mechanical structures in industries such as heavy machinery or construction.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Certifications in MSC Nastran or relevant CAE tools.
Special Skills:
- Knowledge of design codes and standards (e.g., EN, ASME) for structural validation.
- Experience with fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, and structural optimization.
