Ecommerce Manager

The Ecommerce Manager role is an opportunity to operate and grow Amazon, Walmart.com and direct to consumer brands within our portfolio. You will be responsible for the overall success of the businesses on Amazon, Shopify, and other ecommerce platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include on-platform execution, algorithm optimization, account management, listing management, price & promotion planning and execution, and new product launches.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the health of the product: Making sure product listings on Amazon and other platforms are optimized, watching the competitive landscape for similar products, pricing optimizations, review management, and inventory monitoring
- Strategic analysis: Looking at the data and understanding sales trends, product conversion, changes in performance, defining potential opportunities
- Project management: Excellence in execution of all tasks related to managing and growing your brand
- Sales Ranking: Creating strategies to defend and improve the organic ranking of our products
- Growth: Working with our Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to create and manage strategies to drive sales including PPC, promotions, and partnerships
- Problem-solving: Responding to issues as they arise and coming up with proactive plans to ensure speed and quality of resolution
- Product launches: Managing the launches of new products developed by our Category Management and Merchandising teams
- Managing specialists: Delegating to and managing a team of brand-specific specialists to support you as you grow your brands
SKILLS
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. This role will require a significant amount of free-thinking, conclusion drawing, and internal advocacy. You need to be able to thrive in this environment
- A history of obsessing over customer needs and have experience working with, and a passion for, consumer products
- The ability to use online tools with speed. Tools include Shopify, Amazon seller and vendor central, Walmart seller central
- Automation and optimization tools such as Helium10, Jungle Scout, Viral Launch, and others
- The ability to multi-task and work proactively & independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in the Amazon ecosystem and other similar ecommerce experience
- A positive attitude and the ability to work in an environment that values transparency and direct feedback
- A demonstrated track record of independently or collaboratively building a business in brand management, marketing, or a related area
- An excellent sense of humor
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred however not required
- Prior experience selling on Amazon or other online marketplaces
- 1-2 years at a Start-up or fact paced, dynamic work environment
- Experience in Supply Chain Management or analytics a plus
