- Preparations of Mould schemes, Gating calculations to get sound castings with pressurized and un-pressurised system[generally used for large surface area castings ] and also with yield improvements.Will use/take advantages of simulations to get optimize yield with sound castings.
- Sample casting’s inspection dimensionally, mechanically, chemically and metallurgically and finding their problems & its remedies and also preparing related APQP,PPAP docs such as PSW, Engg change note,FMEA,Control Plan,Process flow digram,,dimensional, chemical,mechanical and metallurgical reports.
- Incoming raw materials check sheets like Pig iron,MS Scrap,Silicon steels,CRCA,,LCMS scraps,Ferro alloys,Silica sand and its additives, Shell sand, Inprocess inspections for green sand, carbon di-oxide sand, no-bake sand, shell sand props,molding props,cores props, core setting sequences,melting charge sequences,meet aim chemistry,pouring,knock out process,shot blasting,BHN testing,fetting and finishing processes and final inspections like test certificate and other docs audts.
- Conducting meetings of Rejection analysis with stage and departmental wise and its CAPA on daily basis,weekly performances on quality,rejections,yield improvements, and also conducting monthly meetings and fixing targets and explaining what are the draw backs and how to over come these issues with the help of all departmental teams,their views and strictly implementations to the positive manner.
- Charge calculations in xl sheet wrt available raw materials and set up of 2 to 3 charge mixes(with calculations) and its alloy additions based on its element recovery for melting to meet aim and final chemistry.
- Setting Up Sample for Spectro machine,checking of CRM sample,accuracy corrections and sparking of spectro coins and preparation of Micro reports by using Metallurgical Microscopes with its image analyser.
- Strong in the development of castings such as of Grey,Ductile iron castings and also non-ferrous castings like Aluminium of LM24,LM25 etc.
- Having experience in RP technology which were developed intake manifold, printer carriage, housings of LM 24,LM-25 etc with the investment and shelling processes along with the help of RP machines like SLA,SLS,3D Printing and Fused Deposit Modelling machines,.
