Job Summary:Lead end-to-end production operations, integrating strategic planning with operational execution to
achieve excellence in efficiency, quality, compliance, and cost optimization. Oversee data-driven

meet business objectives and uphold the highest production standards. Key Responsibilies
1. Strategic Leadership: - Develop and execute the overall production strategy to align with organizational goals. - Keep abreast with the ongoing business development, new customer acquisitions, new product
development and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
2. Data-Driven Operations Management: - Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous
improvement. - Leverage data insights to support strategic decision-making and operational adjustments.
3. Mass Balance Optimization: - Ensure accurate mass balance analysis to optimize raw material utilization, minimize waste, and
improve yields. - Develop processes and tools to track material flows and reduce cost impacts
4. COGS Management: - Monitor and optimize production costs, focusing on raw materials, labour, electricity, diesel and
other overheads. - Collaborate with financial teams to track and report on COGS performance metrics.
5. Production Planning and Control: - Oversee the development of production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet business
objectives. - Ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to timelines for consistent delivery by having
daily reviews with procurement and supply chain (stores) - Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet all customer's and internal
specifications & standards and operational needs in terms of delivery targets
6. Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: - Identify and address bottlenecks in production workflows to enhance productivity. - Implement methodologies to drive efficiency and product quality.
7. Maintenance – Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all equipment and
infrastructure. - Ensure minimal downtime by proactively addressing maintenance issues. - Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize machine performance & reliability. - Track and analyse equipment performance data to improve operational efficiency. - Support the engineering department to manage spare parts inventory to avoid production
disruptions8. Product Quality Compliance
- Ensure that all production processes adhere to food safety and quality standards, including
FSSAI, HACCP, BRC and customer-specific requirements. - Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to maintain high standards of hygiene,
safety, and product integrity. - Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances and customer complaints. - Foster a culture of quality consciousness across all levels of production staff.
9. Team Leadership and Development: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production managers, supervisors, and food handlers. - Focussed screening of efficient manpower, focussed training based on the assigned operations &
focussed skill development across all operations - Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth within the team.
10. Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, procurement, to ensure smooth and integrated
operations. - Act as a liaison between production and other departments to align priorities and resolve issues. - Collaborate with R&D, GM and SBUH to keep updated with new customers & new products - Align with Key accounts and dispatches to be informed on requirements – weekly and monthly to
meet all customer requirements
11. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Develop and present comprehensive performance reports covering efficiency, cost metrics, mass
balance, and quality standards. - Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous
improvement.
12. Compliance and Sustainability: - Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards across production activities. - Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and manpower retention.
