supply chain and manufacturing analytics tools used to drive corporate supply chain strategy.
Pioneering new and innovative research methodologies, to enable novel and user-centered,
reporting and data visualization for manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders and/or
business leaders.
Creating design research strategy and proposals based on business needs and gaps in research.
Employing a wide range of research methods, including generative design research and
contextual inquiry, participatory design workshops, interviews, usability studies, and surveys.
Synthesize data from many sources to identify key strategic product and service opportunities,
create UX vision and strategic roadmaps that aligns with the overall business goals and
objectives for new 3M innovation within.
Creating thorough interview discussion guides and usability test guides.
Conducting interviews and usability tests remotely and in-person, either for groups or one-on-
one.
Collaborating and supporting other design activities like product strategy, conceptualization,
Design System, UX/UI design etc. to craft human-centered solutions that drive better outcomes.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, we require (at a minimum) the following
qualifications:● A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in design, human-computer
interaction or equivalent degree.
● Two (2) years of relevant Design Research experience in a private, public, government or
military environment.
● Skills including storytelling & presentation, UX design and research best practices, PowerPoint
(for larger shareouts), and collaboration tools such as Miro.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
3+ years relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Experience solving for supply chain and manufacturing reporting, data visualization, and design
systems.
Experience in user research for AI/ML based solutions.
Proficiency with Figma, UI audits, visual design best practices, and a collaborative mindset.
