Position - Project Manager (Electrical Design)

1.2. Areas of Responsibilities
· Project Leader for Order to Remittance stage of the Project.
· Understand the requirements from customer specifications, technical data sheet and other tender documents.

· Should be aware about IEC and other related standards for electrical design.
· Should be aware about local electricity regulation.
· Support the team for electrical circuits and mechanical fabrications drawings.
· Ensure the design details and all submittals are right in quality and as per Danfoss standards and recommendations.
· Design & drawings standardization for electrical & mechanical schematics which will lead to faster deliverables.
· Discussion with customer for collection of input data, design approval and visit to customer place for technical reviews & approvals.
· Co-ordinate with internal and external stake holders, make a detailed plan to accomplish the goals and technical activities.
· Will be involved in Pre-sales on need to need basis.
· Will be involved from time PO received till the Project is executed and commissioning.
· Create and maintain project schedule and keep customer updated.
· Capable to identify bottle necks (Both internal and external) and proactively take necessary action and draw support from relevant stake holders to avoid / prevent / rectify any bottleneck to make sure that project moves as per schedule.
· Maintain progress report of projects and update all stake holders.
· Strong communication capability and ability to draw support from cross functional teams (Pre-Sales team, Operations, Sales, Engineering team, Supply chain). They will be link between Sales, engineering, Pre sales, SC, procurement and customer.
· Strong vendor relations.
· Project Management team will be responsible for making MOM of these handover meetings and get it documented and will follow in future for actions to be completed as per timeline. Proper Responsibility matrix is to be made.
· This team will support engineering team and afterwards supply chain team for handling customer’s concerns and queries
· This team will be the face in front of customer after post sales (after PO is received).
· Will support supply chain in coordinating with customers on inspection dates , inspection process and delivery process though the ownership of same lies with Supply chain
· Will be responsible for maintaining all documents (drawings, commitments, delivery commitments, inspection reports, drawings approved, commissioning reports, handover of project, all documents related to that project)
· Will ensure rectifications in as build drawings after commissioning is over and keep it documented. 1.3. Key tasks
· Electrical panels design, customer approval & manufacturing clearance.
· After design approval, handover the details to SC and Production team.
· Team competency development and KPI measurement.
· Standardization of electrical & panel related calculations
· Proper Documentation and maintain track records for future references. 2.2. Minimum requirements to working experience
· Experience in electrical engineering design, commissioning and project management.
· Should have good & sound experience in VFD schematics, PLC schematics, MCC & PCC feeders design, IEC Standards.
