Primary Responsibilities:
Understand existing product improvement requirements of Line Pumps &
Boom Pumps. Collaborate with production teams to address design-related
issues during the assembly of Line and Boom pumps.
Collaborate with quality & service team to identify current design issues in
the field machines & ways to overcome the issues.
Lead initiatives to resolve existing issues within defined timeline. Support to
improve production efficiency, product quality, and safety measures within
the factory.
Identify VAVE ideas within the product & process. Take initiative to
implement these ideas with close monitoring.
Coordinate with the Pune design team to ensure that the assembly process
aligns with the original design intent & identify deviations.
Conduct root cause analysis for production/service issues and recommend
appropriate corrective actions.
Assist in the design and modification of components and assemblies based
on feedback from the production line.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including
process maps and assembly guidelines & engineering standards. Secondary Responsibilities:
Support the development and launch of new products, ensuring smooth
transitions from design to production.
Participate in regular reviews to assess production performance, identify
bottlenecks, and propose solutions. 3. Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within
the heavy machinery or construction equipment sectorsCertifications/Licenses:Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, AutoCAD) is
required. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is an
advantageSpecial Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 4. Competencies
