Job Purpose:
The role plays an important part in leading and managing overall the School of
Management and faculty,members of the School of Management, MNR University
under the guidance of the Senior Management and in line with University –ethos,
culture, values and the vision.

Leadership
a) Build a vision for school to define medium and long term academic and research
direction and priorities. Leads the school and ensuring objectives of the school of
University are met.
b) Leads the School in innovation and research relative to the field of
Management.

skills (Both verbal and written) conflict management.

l) Monitoring all the liaisoning activities with government, corporate and other
academic bodies / institutions.
m) Encourages and enhances research within the school encourage team to focus
and guide research students and / or projects.
n) Regularly monitors regulatory guidelines / procedures defined by authorities
/management and bridges any gaps.
o) Oversees and leverages resources through the strategic management of the
Management of School’s budget.
p) Brings visibility and awareness to the school through marketing, developing
strategic partnerships, and presentations at conference and events.1Academic:
a) Ensures the school achieves excellence in academics through innovative
teaching methodologies; upgradation of existing staff, proactive changes in
curriculum and Assessment methodologies.
b) Evaluates assessment criteria and suggest changes as and when required.
c) Advances the work of the school through building and maintaining academic
programs of excellence.
d) Maintains and supports best practices for the continual assessment of academic
programs and strategic initiatives to ensure their continued success and strength.
e) Developing the necessary infrastructure most importantly the library, with
international ambience.
f) Problem Solving.
g) Strives to resolve operational issues with poise in a timely manner.
Relationship Management
a) Ensures transparency and openness within school procedures and
communications.
b) Advances and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion among our
students as well as within the teaching practices and hiring of faculty.
c) Inspires, challenges and motivates students, faculty and staff.
d) Supports the interdisciplinary fabric of the university with opportunities to
collaborate
e) across programs.
f) Cultivates and maintains professional relationships with external constituencies,

Innovativeness
Educational Qualifications
Ph.D in Management from Premier Universities of USA/UK.
Experience:
20 years Academic experience,Must have teaching & administrative experience in
premier USA / UK / Other National / International Universities with good leadership
skills. Experience of working in premier universities / institutions is desirable.
Additional capabilities: 10 International Publications, preferably 5 years
International experience in relevant areas & administrative exposure in premier
educational Universities
