Principal Responsibilities:
• Achieve Area AOP in terms of Sales Revenue and territory growth, strictly adhering to the principles and guidelines and strategy of the company
• Sales growth facilitation by conducting daily calls on physicians, hospitals, clinics and other organizations that require medical device products as well as scientific instruments that focus on patient care.
• Ensure that the product consumption is happening at hospitals to drive demand and grow sales
• Providing training, presentations and demonstrations to the customers, distributors and their sales force on the appropriate use of company’s products using effective communication and sales techniques.
• Supporting and helping to facilitate the execution of regional training, CME programs, workshops and tradeshows within the territory/ region.
• Develop local key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leverage relationships with KOLs for regional voice of customer (VOC) and feed new idea processes.
• Distributor management – collection of S&S statement, discussion on coverage and penetration, stock position and timely supplies to accounts
• Follow up closely with customers, hospitals and distributors for product procurement.
• Support ASM/RSM/ NSM’s in appointing the area channel partners as per business needs
• Ensure that the receivables are strictly under control with respect to DSOs and ensuring that there are no overdue accounts
• Completing administrative responsibilities including quarterly business plans, day to day activities and expense reports in the online sales reporting system.
• Maintaining compliance with all applicable quality and regulatory guidelines as an integral part of business operations.
• Maintain consistent communication with the ASM/RSM/ NSM’s on all matters related to the territory and area, including accurate forecasting.
• Negotiate sales contracts and pricing with customers; review existing contracts to identify those expiring within two months for follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager.
• Interact with internal personnel to resolve customer complaints and questions.
• Adhere to and ensure the adherence of company's Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Education / Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor in science/ Masters in Science. Experience in Marketing will be an added advantage.
• 3+ years sales and/or marketing experience required. Experience with execution of Sales and marketing activities mandatory.
Specialized Skills & Other Requirements: Travel Required: 80%
• Ability to make effective and persuasive communications and technical presentations to physicians, management and/or large groups. Ability to thoroughly understand and communicate the attributes and qualities of Company products using professional selling and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to diplomatically interact and develop solid working relationships with management, staff and peers
• Excellent customer ethics, good attention to detail and ability to complete timely progress reports according to requirements
