Must have Strong knowledge of automation technologies and trends in the industry. ❖ Have exposure in North American Standards. ❖ Highly capable and competent combined with technical expertise, creativity and problem-solving skills to design and deliver high quality mechanical solutions. ❖ Good working knowledge on automated machineries design with strong knowledge of robotic applications, advance machine kinematics, servo & drive, motors etc. ❖ Experience in material handling systems like conveyor, Pallets, AMR, AGV and other material transfer systems. ❖ Hands-on work experience on SPM, Jigs, fixtures, and custom machine building. ❖ Good understanding of pneumatics, electrical actuators, and its applications. ❖ Strong knowledge in GD & T, Design for manufacturability (DFM) and Design for assembly (DFA) principles. ❖ Able to design and integrate vision, inspection, and calibrations systems in automation process. ❖ Able to demonstrate and review the designs efficiently with customer centric approach. ❖ In-depth Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials & grades, coatings, and properties. ❖ Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (ISO, ANSI, ASME). ❖ Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools will be added advantage.
