Job Summary:

The Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for projects based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or clients. The role involves using computer-aided design (CAD) software to convert design concepts into precise technical plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Drawing & Design:

   • Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and designs based on specifications from engineers or architects.
   • Use CAD software to develop layout plans, sketches, blueprints, and models for various projects.

2. Collaboration & Coordination:

   • Work closely with engineering teams, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
   • Incorporate feedback and revisions into the final designs, ensuring alignment with project goals.

3. Documentation & Specifications:

   • Prepare technical drawings that include dimensions, materials, and other relevant specifications.
   • Maintain an organized archive of drawings and project documentation for future reference.

4. Quality Assurance & Accuracy:

   • Ensure that all drawings are accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry standards and codes.
   • Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.

5. Project Support:

   • Assist engineers and architects in developing design concepts and technical details.
   • Provide support during project execution by making design modifications as needed.

6. Software Proficiency:

   • Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) to produce detailed drawings.
   • Stay updated on the latest drafting software, tools, and industry trends.
