Section 1 : Purpose of the position
·The incumbent will be primarily responsible for management of Datacentre and server room for incidents, problem and change for server infrastructure. The incumbent will also be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolates problem and determines and implement solution. The role holder will manage multiple facets of day-to-day IT Infrastructure Operations and Projects.
Section 2 (A) : Scope and Dimension
Scope is for new Datacentre at STT, GK1.
Maintain accurate and up to date server inventory details application/application owner in the ticketing system in Service Now
Work with DC Facility team
Must be available for shift and on-call work occurring outside of normal business hours
Researches and resolves user problems issues and problems with system Hardware, software systems, & operations processing
Performs backup of all production and standby systems and maintained the Backup tapes.
Performs various data systems operations such as opening tracking tickets for service interruptions
Maintain the record of Inward and outward Material
Perform the health check of all DC devices on daily basis.
Share all daily monitoring (Temperature, humidity) health checks reports.
Provide access to vendors and visitors in DC.
Section 2 (B) : Challenges
Data centre is the most critical facility, and any issue can impact business. We do have multiple level of redundancy, but 24*7 monitoring required to avoid any major incident.

(b) Skills and Experience
- 4-5 years of Data center infrastructure experience
- Must have hands on experience on routing and switching.
- Proven experience in the areas of vulnerability management, patch management.
- Proven track record in process and procedure development and execution.
- Ability to work in an individual contributor capacity and influencing without authority across departmental boundaries.
- Hands on technical troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- The candidate is expected to have experience in product like Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet
- Ability to collaborate with extended teams within the branch and across the region and HO IT and establish strong relationships.
