Job Title: Assistant Manager (Accounts) – Indian Entity
Job Description:
We are seeking a experienced Assistant Accounts Manager with a strong background in Taxation, Banking, Financial reporting, costing analysis, statutory compliance and forex risk. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in Taxation & Banking mainly. Experience in agri commodities and audits is considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taxation
- Knowledge of GST compliances, handled GST refund & GST assessments.
- Handled Transfer Pricing & Income Tax Assessments.
- Sound awareness of TDS & TCS.
- Banking and Financing Experience:
- Utilize expertise in banking to optimize capital management.
- Good liasoning with bankers for Trade Financing and other related arrangement.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare detailed financial reports with annexures.
- Provide regular financial analysis and insights to senior management.
- Comply and support group reporting
- Costing Analysis:
- Conduct budget vs. actual analysis.
- Monitor variance and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Inventory and Debtors Control:
- Implement and maintain effective control systems for inventory and debtors, also payables.
- Budgeting and Fund Planning:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets for procurement.
- Ensure effective fund planning and control over payments.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Manage and ensure compliance with local audit requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of local audited accounts.
- External & Internal Audits:
- Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audit processes.
- Implement audit recommendations and improvements.
- Forex Risk
- Monitor and analyze currency exchange rates and their impact on financials.
- Staff Training & Development:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
- Identify training needs and develop training programs.
Qualifications:
- CA, CWA, ACCA or equivalent Degree holder.
