Job description : The Area Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities in a designated geographic area. This includes leading and motivating a team of sales representatives, driving sales performance, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The role requires a combination of leadership skills, strategic planning, and hands-on sales expertise to deliver results in a competitive market environment.
Industry : Any FMCG industry, preferably Beverage Industry
Job Type: Full-time (on-site)
Work Experience : 5+years (Preferably in preferably Beverage Industry)
Education: Graduation or equivalent degree is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
- Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
- Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
- Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's products.
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your area.
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.
- Servicing the needs of your existing customers.
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of sales and sales administration processes.
- Strong understanding of modern trade and general trade.
- Understanding of Food Services business and HORECA would be preferable.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage and lead a team.
