Senior professional in the QA / QS with additional experience in Tool Room domain is advantage to take on the role of Head . This position will be responsible for Head of the quality.
Job Responsibility :
- Incoming Inspection
- Review incoming raw material quality reports
- Approve or reject incoming materials based on inspection findings
- Coordinate with purchase and suppliers for material quality issues
- Ensure compliance with supplier quality agreements
- Supplier Qualification & Audits
- Conduct supplier qualification assessments for new vendors
- Plan and execute supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Review supplier performance and address quality concerns
- Work with suppliers to drive continuous improvements in material quality
- In-Process Quality Assurance
- Monitor in-process inspections across all production lines
- Ensure adherence to quality control plans and work instructions
- Identify process deviations and implement corrective actions
- Conduct daily review meetings with quality executives
- Review SPC (Statistical Process Control) data and analyze trends
- Final Pre-Dispatch Inspection
- Supervise final product quality checks before dispatch
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards
- Approve or reject finished goods for dispatch
- Coordinate with dispatch and marketing teams on product release
- Customer Complaints & Issue Resolution
- Attend to customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for customer issues
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams for resolution
- Maintain records and follow up on complaint closure
- Rejection & Rework Management
- Conduct internal reviews on in-process and customer rejections
- Track rejection trends and analyze root causes
- Implement process improvements to reduce defects
- Monitor rework and scrap reduction initiatives
- Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Identify quality issues and initiate corrective actions
- Monitor effectiveness of implemented actions
- Ensure timely closure of non-conformities
- Document and review CAPA reports
- Statutory & Customer Audits
- Review and ensure compliance with statutory quality requirements
- Prepare documentation and records for customer and regulatory audits
- Address audit observations and ensure timely closure of NCs (Non-Conformities)
- Coordinate with third-party auditors and certification bodies
- PPAP, IATF & Quality Systems Compliance
- Ensure implementation of IATF 16949 standards
- Oversee PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and submissions
- Review and update quality manuals, SOPs, and work instructions
- Conduct internal quality audits and drive continuous improvements
- Process & Product Validation
- Approve process validation plans and monitor implementation
- Ensure validation of new and modified manufacturing processes
- Analyze validation results and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with design, production, and R&D teams for new product validation
- New Product Development
- Participate in design reviews for manufacturability and quality
- Define quality requirements for new product introductions
- Conduct initial sample inspections and provide feedback to R&D
- Ensure smooth transition of new products to mass production
- Team Management & Training
- Conduct daily team briefings and assign responsibilities
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance
- Identify training needs and organize skill enhancement programs
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and compliance standards
