Job Responsibilities: 1. Railway Siding Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of the railway siding, ensuring seamless movement of rolling stock, loading/unloading, and shunting operations. Coordinate with Indian Railways and other stakeholders for efficient rake handling and turnaround time. Ensure compliance with railway rules, safety protocols, and operational guidelines. 2. Track Maintenance & Infrastructure Management: Plan and execute periodic maintenance of railway tracks, switches, crossings, and bridges to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Monitor track conditions, conduct inspections, and address defects through timely repair and replacement. Supervise the upkeep of railway infrastructure, including signaling, drainage systems, and other civil structures. 3. Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage contracts for track maintenance, material procurement, and third-party services. Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work. 5. Team Leadership & Training: Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and technical staff, ensuring high performance and efficiency. Conduct training sessions on best practices in track maintenance, safety, and railway operations. 6. Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for siding O&M, track maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades. Optimize resources to control costs while maintaining operational excellence.
