Technology makes society less humane. It is increasingly impacting and changing the way people work, according to Randstad Workmonitor survey. Nearly 75 per cent of survey respondents felt technology makes society less humane. The survey of over 600 people showed 81 per cent of the female respondents felt this way compared with 71 per cent males, said a release from the recruitment company Randstad, which does this quarterly survey for various countries.

Moorthy K Uppaluri, MD & CEO, Randstad India, said, “While keeping up with technology is imperative in today’s business environment, corporates must ensure that this does not replace human interaction. The ideal scenario would be when we can bring both these together to a harmonious balance to achieve the organisational objectives.”
